Is the data stored in DMS encrypted?

Smart Source DMS is built on Microsoft’s Power Platform. The data stored in Dataverse in Power Platform encrypts data at multiple levels.

Transparent Data Encryption (TDE): Dataverse uses Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) to perform real-time encryption and decryption of the data and log files at the database level.

Encryption at Rest: Beyond TDE, Microsoft ensures that all data stored in Dataverse is encrypted at rest, which includes files, log files, and backups

Encryption in Transit: Data in transit to and from Dataverse is protected using industry-standard transport protocols, such as TLS 1.2, to encrypt the data while it moves between devices and Microsoft data centers.
